We have a wide variety of colours, from soft vibrant colours to your more traditional colours.

Leaving an Alpaca Halter on constantly could cause issues, such as getting the halter caught in a fence or on trees or bushes. Note: some breeders and hobbyists do leave them on and this comes down to what you’re comfortable with.

No- A well-made and properly fitted Halter wont rub and be sure to buy a halter that suits your Alpaca. Eg- right size for the age of the alpaca.  Buying  one size fits all Halter won’t sit correctly and could be too loose or too tight. It is important that your halter sits high up on the nose to avoid damaging or restricting flow.

How to Clean Your Alpaca Halter

Keep your alpaca halter looking its best with a little gentle care. To clean:

  1. Brush off loose dirt – Use a soft brush or shake off debris.

  2. Spot clean with a damp cloth – Lightly wipe the halter with lukewarm water.

  3. Use mild soap if needed – For stubborn spots, apply a small amount of gentle soap with a soft cloth, then wipe clean.

  4. Rinse and dry – Dab with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap, then air dry completely.
